Young Men’s Rites of Passage by Illuman of WA

Where: Cascade Meadows near Leavenworth WA
When: June 26-29th, 2025
For Ages: 18-25
Cost: $650
This four-day event in June is part of a journey that includes meeting with elders before and after the June event. Based on the age old wisdom that younger men and elder men need one another as they journey deeper into being a healthy man, this event is designed to help young men navigate thresholds to find their belonging in the wild family of things.
During these 4 days, participants will:
Be Guided, Not Preached To – Walk alongside men who’ve been through it. Mentorship here means being seen, challenged, and supported—not fixed.
Explore Masculinity Without the Mask – In a world full of noise and pressure, this is a chance to question, feel, and redefine what being a man means to you.
Build Inner Security – Not just hype or bravado—real grounding in who you are, through challenge, reflection, and relationship.
Feel the Pull of Something Greater – Step away from the scroll and into the wild—ceremony, nature, and silence reconnect you to life, meaning, and mystery.
Answer the Call – This is for young men ready to risk, to serve, to show up. What does life ask of you? What will you stand for?
Men between the ages of 18-25 who are looking to deepen your sense of rootedness and belonging: This Young Men’s Rite of Passage will help guide you on your journey to become a healthy man.
At this four-day event in the heart of the Cascade Wilderness, you will experience rituals, myths, and mentorship with elder men, to help you explore healthy masculinity and step into the power of something greater than yourself.
Illuman of WA mission is to: “Awaken men to their belovedness that they might go and love the world”. To do so we combine powerful rituals, mythic storytelling, group council, nature wanderings, and connecting with elder men on the journey of becoming wholesome adult men.
